Working with CEOs and Governing Boards to define and secure their preferred future

CEO Coaching Protocol

People navigate their careers around their aspirations, mindsets, relative strengths and support system. How they see themselves weighs heavily on their success as well as the significance of their work; how they conduct themselves is critical to both organizational performance and personal well-being.

Leaders seldom get to choose the context in which they lead. And since leadership is a journey most often begun by accident and punctuated by the unexpected, leaders are by definition under continuous development.

Our time-limited, goal-directed coaching protocol is oriented toward strategic leadership... "Thinking, acting and influencing in a manner that affects destination, direction or fundamental method". It is grounded in the view that "leadership" means "assuming personal responsibility for collective action".

Our approach is informed by "defining moments" at work and in life and is augmented with an assessments, interviews and direct observations as appropriate.

Follow-up considers attainment of specific engagement goals in light of substantive changes in context, behavior and personal awareness. Of paramount importance is the resulting "fit" among the three and its impact on both the leader and the system.
