GovernBest associates represent achievements in corporate, governmental and non-profit leadership as well as experience on both sides of the governing "table". We are prepared to apply this experience in service of a turnaround, an orderly dissolution or the incubation of a valued new initiative. We have the capacity to bring "cool" heads to what are often "hot" issues so as to maximize the prospects for a better tomorrow.

Interim guidance at the directorate level has a long and important history of contributions in contexts as varied as political reconciliations, merger compacts, start-ups and wind-downs. At their best, these engagements come at a "hinge in time", opening the way to a truly preferred future. Their particulars and the mix of skills they call for are by definition unpredictable and transient. They are often, though, just the right response to the opportunities and risks that accompany major transitions, constituting the "scaffolding" for longer-term legitimacy.

In such situations, GovernBest deploys a team of associates to critical transitions to work in tandem with other legitimate stakeholders on a path forward. We hammer out "terms of engagement" unique to the circumstances that define our role, responsibilities and authority over a time-limited, goal-directed, breakthrough-based period against a mutual definition of what constitutes "success".
